Symphonie 1

  1974-101A

The Symphone MV1 (flight model 1) satellite was launched on 1974 Dec 19 from Cape Canaveral. Launch was successful although stage 2 telemetry failed 12s after separation from stage 3. A 19m50s burn of the S400 apogee motor at 6th apogee circularized the orbit. Control was swapped every 6 months between GSOC and CNES/Toulouse.
