Echostar 3

Echostar Corp's Echostar 3 is an LMT A2100AX series launched by Atlas IIAS in 1997. It is the first satellite to be built at LM Commercial Satellite Center/Sunnyvale. It will be stationed at 61.5W. Mass was 3670 kg. This was the first 2100AX.

Horizons 2

Horizons 2 Satellite LLC, a subsid of Horizons Satellite Holdings LLC, is a joint venture of JSAT and Intelsat (originally Panamsat), based in the US (incorporated in Delaware?).

Will replace SBS 6 at 74W; Orbital/Dulles Star 2. Launch by Ariane 5GS with medium fairing. RASCOM on an 1194H adapter on Sylda 5E, encapsulating Horizons on a 937VB5 adapter.

Mass 2304 kg launch, 1018 kg dry. 3.94 x 3.29 x 2.30m with 18.05m span.

In late 2011, Horizons 2 was moved to 85E to serve Intelsat's Russian customers.
