Intelsat 803

The 803 satellite was swapped to the 42L launch vehicle. The satellite was built by LMT/East Windsor. Its launch mass is 3455 kg, BOL 2079 kg, dry 1601 kg. Bus is 2.5 x 2.2 x 5.2 m with a 10.8m span. Total power is 6400 W. It will be stationed at 26.5W.

In 1998 it became part of the spinoff company New Skies Satellites NV and was renamed NSS-803. It will be moved to the POR to replace NSS-513 in 2002. It was later renamed NSS-5.
