3346 kg launch, 1510 kg dry 2.9 x 1.8 x 2.5m with 32m span. Launch by Ariane in 2008. Ground stations in Gnangara, Fillmore and Fucino. The primary control facility is in Dirab, Saudia Arabia.

Turksat 3A

Thales Alenia Space Spacebus 4000B2 with 24 Ku. Mass 3110 kg launch, 1272 kg dry (AriPK);

Size 2.8 x 1.8 x 2.9m, span 29.6m.

Delivery on orbit to Turksat AS via Ariane 5; will replace Turksat 1C.

Flight V183 with vehicle L540.

EAP type B, 31m high 3m dia with 38t empty mass and 240t of prop. EPC type C (H175/Vulcain 2) is 30m long 5.4m dia, 14100 kg dry. VEB type C and Cone 3936 is 950 kg; ESC-A is 19000 kg full. Astrium-ST SYLDA 5A is 400-530 kg 6.4m high 4.6m dia; ACU are 150 kg each, two EADS-CASA PAS 1194C. Long Fairing is 2000-2500 kg.

Performance margine is used to reduce inclination from 6 deg to 2 deg.

VEB/ESC-A/Cone 3936 are now produced in Astrium ST/Bremen. (This is the third one to be done in Bremen, to accommodate higher production rates.)
