SES-16 (GovSat)

At 21.5E, X/Ka-band military. Orbital ATK Geostar 3. SES military comms satellite for Luxembourg and NATO; LuxGovSat S.A. is a partnership between the Luxembourg government and SES.

The first stage tested a three-engine high thrust landing burn, and survived its impact with the water. The second stage reached a supersynchronous geotransfer orbit.

Elektro-L No. 2 (No. 1521) was somewhat more massive. After launch, several debris objects were found in the SBB orbit. The Fregat was no. 222-02 per NK, no. 2004 per other sources.

Bus can carry 570 kg prop.
