KH-4A Mission 1009 was another successful flight, its two SRVs being recovered with good imagery. It was launched 1964 Aug 5 by TAT Agena D from Vandenberg. Mission 1009-1 observed 88 targets and 1009-2 observed 92 targets; a new launch facility was seen, a new naval vessel was discovered under construction, and 15 submarines were observed and identified.
