The final Thrust Augmented Thor Agena D launch in the Corona program took off from Vandenberg on 1967 Mar 30; the SLV-2A was phased out in favor of the SLV-2G Thorad (LTTAT) launch vehicle. KH-4A Mission 1040 entered an 85.0 degree orbit; Mission 1040-1 lasted 5 days, followed by Mission 1040-2 which lasted 4 days. Both SRVs were recovered. Mission 1040 was flown `nose first', unlike most Corona flights, due to a faulty programmer.
