This is a technology test satellite developed for the Commission of Science.Technology and industry for National Defence (COSTIND).It is primarily designed to carry out in-orbit demonstration of such technologies and new products as electric propulsion,high-precision and high-stability control system,high-efficiency power supply and advanced thermal control techniques.It will also be used for Earth observation and for tests of indigenously developed key components and devices.
