A new KH-11 class satellite, built to continue the program when the ambitious FIA replacement missions were cancelled. A mission patch had a mock-Latin motto translating roughly as 'better the devil you know'.

The launch was NROL-49 and went to a 1300 LTDN east plane orbit.

Ed Kyle on nsf estimated stage 2 mass 3300 kg, 2000-2500 kg burn 2 prop mass. 5000-6500 kg for C1 CM+trunk. while 'ugordan' estimated 4300 kg for Stage 2 + trunk, with 2755 kg burn 2 prop.

simcosmos estimated 10647 kg (US+USprop+Trunk+cubesats+DragonCapsule) 4110 kg : Upper Stage + Trunk, 2777 kg : Upper Stage Prop --------------- 6887 kg US+Trunk/Prop

Which, after a burn of a little more than 20s or so (for a dV of ~1567m/s or so), resulted in 281 x 11100 km, 34.61 inc:

4110 kg : Upper Stage + Trunk 121 kg : Upper Stage Prop. --------------- 4231 kg Cubesats were 20 kg so 3740 for Capsule?

Orbit tests included attitude control and propulsion tests, thermal control verification, comm tests.
