JSAT Corp. satellite using A2100AX bus. Mar 2006. Mass 4048 kg launch and 1858 kg dry. Size 5.5 x 2.2 x 2.2m with 26.9m span.
Will be located 128E for direct TV and HD service to Japan, Asia-Pacific and Hawaii.
L531 carries Syracuse 3B on an 1194H adapter; A Sylda 5A structure (with 1.5m extension), with another 1194H adapter carrying JCSAT-10. The fairing is a Medium fairing with an ACY5400 2m extension.
The satellite entered service as JCSAT 3A.
