Former AMC satellite , Orbital Star 2. To replace AMC 2 and AMC 4 at 101W. SES World Skies.

Mass 2561 kg launch. Delivery to near-GEO by Briz-M 99512 on Proton 93511.

SES Americom satellite. Orbital Star-2.4 bus. Also called OS-2, = former AMC 4R. Orbital Star 2 bus.

The satellite was registered with the UN by the UK, as it was procured by SES Satellite Leasing (Isle of Man), but it was noted that the UK `authorized the launch only. The satellite is owned and operated by the [USA]'. In 2012, the US belatedly registered the satellite with the UN.
