IA-8, formerly Loral Skynet Telstar 8, is a 5493 kg FS-1300S (or 1300E?), first extended bus satellite. Total of 92 transponders. Launch by Zenit-3SL. Sold to Intelsat prior to launch in 2003. In 2007 it was renamed Galaxy 28.
