Mission 9007 was launched on 1960 Feb 19 by Thor Agena A from Vandenberg. However, the Thor guidance failed and CORONA 10 was destroyed by the range safety officer only 56 seconds after takeoff at an altitude of 6.7 km. The flight control system had a pitch oscillation which caused the missile to exceed range safety limits.
