Eutelsat W2M

Built by EADS Astrium/ISRO for deployment at 10E. Uses ANTRIX/ISRO I3K bus and Astrium comms payload. Launch mass 3460 kg launch 1555 kg dry, size 1.8 x 2.0 x 5.0m with 15.7m span (Arianespace kit); 1.8 x 2.0 x 3.1m with 15.7m span (EADS kit). W2M used a PAS1194VS adapter and is inside a Sylda-5A.

The satellite was partly disabled by a power failure early in its mission but continued to operate.

Galaxy 15

Orbital Star 2 satellite 2033 kg launch, 1264 kg BOL, 885 kg dry. Size 3.3 x 1.9 x 1.5m with 12.6m span. For 133W. Under the Spelda 5E; uses 937VB5 adapter.

Galaxy 15 was owned by Panamsat until that company's purchase by Intelsat in 2006 Jul.

The L-band LMPRS-1 WAAS navigation payload is operated by Lockheed Martin for the US FAA.

In 2010, the satellite commanding systems failed and the satellite drifted off station, but the communications payload carried on transmitting, interfering with other satellites. Intelsat were unable to regain control until December, when the satellite lost earth lock, the batteries drained, and the systems rebooted.
