Corona 98

 1965-067A

Mission 1023-1 operated from 1965 Aug 17 to 22, follwed by Mission 1023-2 from Aug 22 to Aug 26. The forward camera shut down for a period during the second mission (rev 103-132). The satellite was launched by TA Thor Agena D from PALC-1-1. (The official VAFB history office launch list designates the launch complex at that time as PALC-1, but the contemporary Launch Summary for the flight records it as ``South Vandenberg Complex I''.

STS-28 (Columbia)

 1989-061A

Columbia flew again in Aug 1989. The STS-28R mission was highly classified. It deployed two satellites, one large NRO communications satellite which is thought to have been boosted to Molniya orbit, and one small GAS-can-deployed experiment that may have been a GLOMR follow-on or an NRO sigint payload.
