CRS-5 was launched in Jan 2015 following some delays, the first US cargo flight since the Antares Orb-3 failure. This was the first attempt to fly back the Falcon 9 first stage to the ASDS ship, which was stationed about 360 km E of the Cape; the booster successfully performed three braking burns and steered towards a near-pinpoint landing but ran out of hydraulic fluid for the grid steering fins just before touchdown and was destroyed, causing minor damage to the ship.
