DS-U2-IK No. 6 (Interkosmos-14) was launched on a Kosmos-3M from Plesetsk in Dec 1975. The satellite carried a 4-frequency ionospheric beacon and plasma detectors, and was placed in an elliptical orbit. Scientists from IZMIRAN, IKI, CLSR-BAS, and GICZ participated.
Size: body 1.5l 0.8d; span 2.4m long 2.3dia; 312 kg (+82 kg instruments). Ellipsoid + booms.
