The Meteor-3 No. 7 satellite was launched in Jan 1994. Nass was 2150 kg. The satellite, built at VNII Elektromekhaniki at Istra, supplies weather observations for the FSGMM (Federal'naya Sluzhba Gidrometeorologii i Monitoringa - Federal Service of the Meteorology and the Monitoring). Germany's TUBSAT B subsatellite was ejected from Meteor-3 a few hours after launch.
