Progress 41

 1989-023A

Progress (7K-TG) No. 149 was launched in Mar 1989 as Progress-41. It delivered 2238 kg of cargo to Mir. After undocking on Apr 20, it was to be deorbited as usual over the Pacific, but for the first time on a Progress mission the deorbit burn was incomplete when fuel ran out, leaving the vehicle in an orbit with a perigee of 127 km.
