Progress M-7

 1991-020A

Progress vehicle 208 (Progress M-7) carried 2542 kg of cargo and the second VBK return capsule. For the first time in the Progress and Progress M program, it failed to dock on the first attempt on 1991 Mar 22. A second approach to Kvant DP2 on Mar 23 also failed, narrowly avoiding a collision. A third attempt using instead the port on the Mir transfer compartment was successful on Mar 28.
