STS-42 (Discovery)

 1992-002A


STS-42 carried out the International Microgravity Laboratory-1 Spacelab research flight. The payload bay also carried a GAS bridge.

The IML used a Fluid Experiment System to make crystals of triglycine sulfate, the VCGS to make HgI crystals, and an organic crystal growth system. Oat and wheet seedling growth was studied.
