Melco DS2000 satellite for SCC. Superbird 7 will be called Superbird C2 as part of the operational constellation. The satellite carried an R-4D-11-164 apogee motor.

6.3 x 3.7 x 3.0m with 31.6m span.

4820 kg full, 2018 kg dry. 144E, 28 Ku transponders. Launch on Ariane 5 2008. Direct broadcast for Japan and comms services in Asia-Pacific region.
