Formerly NASDA Global Change Observation Mission. GCOM-A1 for atmospheric monitoring; GCOM-B1 for earth observation. Follow on to ADEOS.
1750 kg box + 2 panels; 2.0 x 1.8 x 3.7m bus span 13.7m. Built by MELCO Kamakura.
GOSAT was jointly developed by JAXA, Japan's Ministry of the Environment, and the National Institute for Environmental Studies (NIES)
