Will replace Intelsat IS-8 at 166E. C/Ku FSS, DTH and network to Australia, video/mobile services in Asia Pacific to US. One solar array was damaged shortly after fairing separation. It suffered from the same manufacturing defect as the two Estrela do Sul satellites.
