IGO G1 was owned by ICO North America, or ICO Satellite Management, LLC (Reston, VA and Slough, UK) and ICO Global Communications (Holdings) Limited in Reston VA. Loral 1300, 6634 kg launch by Atlas 5. ICO North America/Reston was renamed DBSD North America Inc in 2009 and the satellite became DBSD-G1. (The ICO F2 satellite remained with the parent ICO Global which became Pendrell in 2011). In 2012 the satellite joined the Echostar fleet as Echostar G1.
