Boeing 601 class GOES satellite. Launch by Delta 4M+(4,2) with 4-m fairing and 2 solid boosters. Control from NOAA SOF, Suitland after early orbit ops by GSFC. Launch for on-orbit storage, then replaced GOES 11 in late 2011.
Size 8.2 x 2.3 x 3.4m box + 1 panel. Mass 3215 kg launch, 2180 kg BOL (NASA PK). Mass 3238 kg launch, 2189 kg BOL (Boeing PK). Launch on azimuth 95 deg.
