The ZY-3 land mapping satellite isoperated by the State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping, Guojia (State) cehui (Surveying and Mapping) dili (Geographic) xinxi (Information) ju (Bureau).

ZY3-01 was managed by SASTIND (:CNSAS:). The operational ZY3-02 was transferred fully to the :GCDX: (Goujia cehui dili xinxiju, State Surveying and Mapping Info Bureau) and its Satellite Surveying and Mapping Applications Center (SASMAC, Weixing cehui yingyong zhongxin)
