1968-113A
DS-U2-I No. 3 was launched in Dec 1968 for VLF radio propagation studies. It also carried an STS-5 triple-coincidence radiation telescope and an STS-5 counter on a 2-m long extendable boom. The satellite was reported to be still operating in Feb 1969 and reportedly detected the Chinese test nuclear explosion.
