DigitalGlobe (Longmont, Colorado) new generation WV-1 0.5-meter-resolution satellite adding to QuickBird. Built by Ball Aerospace with ITT payload for NGA NextView program and launched by Delta II from Vandenberg. BCP-5000 bus.
Box + 2 panels 3.6 x 2.5m with 7.1m span. Launch mass 2500 kg.
Orbit 496 x 496 km x 97.2. In June 2014 the FCC granted approval for the satellite to shift from a 1030 LTDN SSO to a 1330 LTDN SSO.
