ESA Earth Explorer 3, SMOS (Soil Moisture and Ocean Salinity) is a Proteus-bus (Spacebus-L500) craft with a dual polarization 2-D interferometric L-band radiometer. 1m Box + 2 panels + 3 booms; each boom is 4m long.
