Koronas-Foton

 2009-003A

Koronas-Foton - science payload from Kotev MEPHI Moscow ENg-Phys Inst. Cyl+2 panels Meteor-3 bus type 2250 kg Tsik-3M. (AUOS ws Ukranian - moved to Meteor) control from Moscow SOC at MEPHI

Study solar flares from EUV to gamma,550 x 550 x 82.5 in end 2007 10' pointing 1ms timing

Spacecraft had factory number 138 5351 535I.

The science data system was activated on Feb 17, but in July the satellite began suffering power supply problems. After a battery failure on Dec 1, science operations with the satellites came to an end and contact was lost on Dec 11.
