It will replace Paksat-1 (Palapa C1) at 38E.
Called in Chinese 'Bajisitan tongxin weixing 1R' Includes some Pakistani components.
SUPARCO satellite, commerical aspect will be overseen by PAKSAT International (Private) Limited (founded 2006 Jan), the commercial arm of SUPARCO.
