SES-8

 2013-071A

SES World Skies, OSC Star, 33 Ku for South Asia and Indochina; Ka-band for Aisa-Pacific. Launch by the first Falcon 9 v1.1. The launch was successful, but an attempted restart to demonstrate the potential for GTO satellite delivery did not occur. The glitch was blamed on cryo oxygen freezing fluid lines on the igniter system; it was fixed for future flights by added insulation.
