B-Sat 1A

 1997-016B


BSAT-1a was launched together with Thaicom 3 on Ariane V95. It will replace the earlier NASDA BS satellites, but is operated by Broadcasting Satellite System Corp. of Tokyo. The coverage beam is over the Japanese islands.
