In August 2011 the M-12M craft failed to reach orbit, the first ever launch failure of a Progress supply ship. Impact was in the Gorno-Altai region.
Cargo included Matryoshka-R, Poligen, Kaskad experiment equipment and a set of Russian laptops.
Launch mass 7282 kg. Cargo mass 2670 kg including 1204 kg dry cargo.
