Singapore-Taiwan 2, owned by ST-2 Satellite Ventures of Singapore, jointly owned by Singapore Telecom Ltd. of Singapore and Chunghwa Telecom Co. of Taipei. Will replace ST-1.
ST-2 is a MELCO/Kamakura DS-2000 satellite. Mass 5100 kg.
Launch by Ariane VA202, L559, with ECA upper stage (20th assembled in Bremen).
Box 6.2m high 3.75m dia, 31.6m span. 5090 kg launch.
Assembly is 14300 kg at ESC-A burnout. With 8180 kg of payloads, that leaves 6120 kg for ESC-A, Sylda, and residual prop. The EADS PK reports 8997 kg total for payloads and Sylda/adapters, so 817 kg for Sylda/adapters and 5303 kg for ESC-A and prop.
