HB6 at 13E will be 3905 kg launch. Alcatel Spacebus 3000B3 bus. The satellite replaces HB5 and frees capacity on HB4. It will deliver digital TV and radio to Europe, N Africa and the Middle East. The Ka-band delivers interactive IP and DVB services to businesses.

Vehicle AV-001 will be launched from SLC-41 in 2002. CCB is 3.81m diameter, 32.5m tall with RD-180 engine. Common Centaur upper stage; 4-m fairing, no strapons. SEC Centaur is 3.05m dia 12.7m long with extended nozzle and one RL10A-4-2 engine.
